'SILENCIO'
10 minute drama shot in 4 days on super 16mm (September 2006). Director Robert Ford. Producer Allan Hambidge. Production company The London Film School.
For this studio based short film I hired out a number of items of kit from sound mixer Jonathan Mitchell. These items included a 744T hard-disk recorder, a Sound Devices 422 analog mixer, a 6 output block battery & one fantastic Schoeps CMC41 microphone (operated by Juliette Plumtre). The rest of the kit I provided myself.
This film gave me the opportunity to use a hard-disk recorder for the first time. As expected it worked very well indeed and allowed me to playback takes at a moments notice. At the end of each day I would send the BWF files onto my laptop via a firewire link. At the end of the production I handed over one DVD with all the sound rushes and sound log files which I compiled on my laptop using spreadsheet software.

My sound trolley kitted out with a Laptop for audio playback, a Sound Devices 744t hard disk recorder, a 422 analog mixer and Garwood radio transmitter.
